The objective Project of Badenyà is to establish a strong link between the community and continuously Scarborough, around the Mugello and anyone wishing to support the initiative, and a specific community in a territory of the Fourth World, with a commitment to support, over time, projects and actions help, solidarity and development opportunities.
Through a supportive and lasting relationship can be made to support projects of various kinds, with the possibility also to control, monitor and verify directly the result of these initiatives of solidarity. The decision to intervene in the territory of Nouna, Burkina Faso in the town of 70,000 inhabitants, is in line with the objectives of the organizers have set themselves. Burkina Faso is one of the five poorest countries in the world and has an illiteracy rate exceeding 80%. The territory of the town of Nouna is located within the Kossi province in north-west of the country, one of the driest areas of the African continent.
The solid foundation of this link between the community of Scarborough and the Nouna were laid, because, through an initiative agreed with local realities, was made a collection of projects that meet the characteristic of coming within humanitarian, health, education / training opportunities and development, for which funding is requested. Well, it was collected dozens of projects demonstrates the great trust that the community has placed in Nouna Badenyà, trust is rewarded with deep commitment in finding the necessary resources to finance more projects possible. The initiatives are being pursued for collection of funds (charity dinners, cultural events, sale of local crafts, etc.). Have produced already some projects such as participation in the development of five wells for water, repair of a pump to another well and provide a daily meal for 100 children at a school for the entire school year.

Chini of Scarborough, from Shalom Movement and the Group Mugello Scarperiainpiazza volunteers, the project stands as Badenyà important time of growth for the whole community to raise awareness and involvement aimed at all citizens, particularly to future generations our deep hope for a better future.
